This past Tuesday night I received a very exciting text from fellow stalker Chas from the ItsFilmedThere website letting me know that one of his readers had finally finally tracked down the exterior of the fictional Jack Rabbit Slims restaurant where Mia Wallace aka Uma Thurman took Vincent Vega aka John Travolta for dinner in the 1994 movie Pulp Fiction. Unlike Jack Rabbit Slims which was sadly not a real restaurant the diner we see here at the start of Pulp Fiction was an actual restaurant with these scenes being shot on location at the Hawthorne Grill located south of the Los Angeles Airport until it was turned into an AutoZone auto parts store. No doubt missing out on the kind of tourist oddity that still sees people screwing.
